Tim’s passion for audio started nine years ago in live theater sound, and he has spent the years since mastering both sides of the studio glass. After finishing his degree in Audio Engineering and Music in New York—where he also studied guitar and vocal performance—he moved to Colorado to produce great music near the mountains. Tim is a true multi-hyphenate creator: when he isn't engineering, he is a dedicated music educator teaching audio production, recording techniques, guitar, bass, and vocals. His engineering specialties span live instruments, vocal tracking, single/album mixing, podcasts, and audiobooks.
Tim is eager to partner with live bands, singer-songwriters, and hip-hop artists who value an efficient, highly productive session. He prides himself on a warm, professional environment and delivering stellar mixes on (or ahead of!) schedule.
Sam Kolb
Electronic - Live Band - Sound Design (Studio A & B)
Sam brings over a decade of recording, engineering, and production experience to CCM Studios. He possesses a deep technical fluency across a massive variety of software and hardware, allowing him to navigate complex sessions with ease. Sam's musical tastes and engineering specialties are beautifully eclectic, spanning hip-hop, rap, electronic music, punk/hardcore, and world music. In addition to standard studio tracking, he has extensive experience scoring original music for independent films and commercial applications.
Sam is passionate about helping artists push boundaries. Whether you need an electronic track dialed in, a heavy punk band tracked live, a beat produced from scratch, or a cinematic score for your next film project, Sam is ready to take your sound to the next level.
Hunter Holland

Hunter’s transition from music enthusiast to industry professional is fueled by a genuine passion for all things sound. He earned his B.A. in Recording Arts with a minor in Film Production from CU Denver, giving him a sharp ear for both musical and visual storytelling. Today, Hunter balances his work at CCM Studios with roles as a sound-for-film professional and a live sound technician. This diverse background makes him incredibly steady under pressure and highly adept at capturing the energy of a live performance.
Hunter loves producing and supporting artists across a wide spectrum of genres, including rock, pop, hip-hop, and singer-songwriter projects. He is excited to collaborate with local artists to elevate their creative visions and ensure their project is in highly capable hands.
Eamon Weber
Hip Hop - R&B - Live Band (Studio A & B)
Eamon has been a staple at CCM Studios for three years, bringing a lifelong relationship with music to the console. Classically trained in piano from a young age and well-versed in multiple instruments, he actually got his start writing and rapping. This unique background means he truly understands the studio experience from the artist's perspective. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his Recording Arts degree at CU Denver, and has spent his time collaborating with a wide array of local bands, producers, and artists within both the university and CCM networks.
Eamon specializes in hip-hop, R&B, and modern production. He prides himself on being highly adaptable: no matter what your specific workflow looks like, Eamon is ready to mold his process to fit your style and capture the exact sound you are chasing.
Jeremy Baxter

With over a decade of music experience, Jeremy brings a fresh, nuanced perspective to every session. He offers full-spectrum production—from beat-making and instrumentation to final engineering—with a deep appreciation for underground sentiments across electronic, hip-hop, techno, punk, rock, and pop. Jeremy’s collaborative process is highly intentional: every session begins by identifying your specific direction, analyzing reference tracks, and building a rock-solid sonic foundation before the mics even turn on. Inside the booth, he coaches performances with precision, pulling out your absolute best takes while keeping the creative momentum flowing.
Jeremy loves transforming raw, foundational ideas into release-ready songs. Whether you want to mix and master on the spot or leave with stems for further production, he is ready to help you capture your definitive sound.
J Mejia

As our Studio Manager, J is the heartbeat of CCM Studios' daily operations. Born and raised right here in Denver, J grew up surrounded by the city's diverse music scene, developing an early appreciation for everything from classic rock to hip-hop and modern chart-toppers. He went on to bridge the gap between creativity and technical precision at the University of Denver, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. He has spent years leveraging that technical background to hone his skills, build industry connections, and perfect his craft in production and live band tracking.
J is dedicated to creating the perfect balance between high-level technical expertise and raw creative drive. He looks forward to welcoming you to CCM, ensuring your session runs seamlessly, and helping you find the perfect room and engineer for your project's unique needs.
Darren Skanson
Country - Rock - Pop - Classical (Evergreen - Studio A)
As the owner and chief engineer of CCM Studios, Darren brings an incredible depth of musical versatility and 30 years of recording and production expertise to the local community. A music graduate from the University of Minnesota–Moorhead, Darren is also an accomplished producer, an acclaimed classical guitarist, and a Billboard Top Classical Chart artist with over 100,000 albums sold. His compositions have been featured on Beethoven Radio, television, film, and for major national brands. Over his three decades behind the console, he has produced hundreds of diverse projects spanning classical, jazz, rock, hip-hop, and film scoring.
Darren's passion lies in helping artists achieve exceptional professionalism regardless of genre. He is dedicated to making CCM Studios a welcoming, world-class space where local and national creators alike can realize their full artistic depth.
